AZS Academic League in men’s and women’s basketball
The Academic League is: intercollegiate competition in several mass sports, such as volleyball, handball, basketball and swimming and field hockey.
The AZS Academic League is a pilot project of the Academic Sports Association and the Ministry of Sports and Tourism, which aims to popularize sports among the student community.
This year, elimination tournaments in men’s and women’s basketball (08-10.11 and 29-30.11, 01.12) were organized by the Academic Sports Association of Toruń together with the University Sports Center.
The AZS Academic League is financed by the Ministry of Sports and Tourism.
Patronage over the Toruń qualifying tournaments of the Academic League was assumed by the Mayor of Toruń Paweł Gulewski and JM Rector of UMK Prof. Andrzej Tretyn.
