Aneta Rygielska became the Polish Boxing Champion during the tournament, which took place on March 27-30, 2019 in Grudziądz. The representative of the Nicolaus Copernicus University competed in the weight category of 60 kg. There were ten boxers in her category.
In order to stand on the highest podium, Aneta Rygielska had to participate in three fights. At the beginning she faced a boxer from Radom and finished the fight ahead of time. In the semi-finals, she was presented to the representative of the Nowa Huta Boxing Club, Wioleta Teichmann, and she won again. This led her to the final fight against Maria Jackowska - a boxer from Zielona Góra. The last fight turned victorious, Aneta Rygielska became the Polish Boxing Champion by unanimous decision of the referees.
What are Aneta Rygielska’s plans for the future? The priority is to prepare for the upcoming European Championships to show the best form there. At present, Aneta at a training camp in Germany, where she is training and sparring with competitors from Ireland and Canada, and from April 7 she is going to participate in the national camp in Władysławowo.
